This will be a theme rattle. The picture shows the eagle theme but I will have several other choices with patterns. You will learn how to woodburn on a gourd and wood. We will also do some creative doodling. We will finish by adding a little color with oil pencils and dressing the rattle up with leather, beads, and feathers. I will have enough oil pencils for all to use, but you can bring your own if you have them. this is a fun class with no pressure!!!
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Gourd, wooden handle, buckshot, oil pencils, sealer, dyes, patterns, leather, beads, and other special materials. A pattern will be included in each kit.
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Temperature controlled wood burner. Bring a pencil point tip, small or medium ball tip, and a spear tip if you have them. If not bring what you have.
For a savings of $5.00, students may bring:
Leather strips, beads, feathers
Walk-ins welcome if class is not full
