Sunday Morning 9:30 - 12:30
Students will Woodburn a design of their choice, either from patterns provided by the teacher or a design of their own. Then a rim will be coiled onto the gourd to accomodate a glass bud vase. To finish the piece, a hanger and embellishments from wire will be added.
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Prepared Extra large Banana Gourd, Danish Cord, Waxed Linen, Bud Vase, Wire, Pattern, Transfer paper, Needle
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Woodburner, Woodburner tip for burning design (a ball tip works great), Magic Eraser a Pencil,
Round nosed Pliers,
Wire cutters and Oil or Water Pencils to add color to design if desired.
Teacher will have extra Round Nosed Pliers and Wire Cutters to share.
Students can bring a small (3x3") pattern to use on their gourd if they wish
For a savings of $10.00 students may bring their own following supplies:
Glass Bud Vase, Danish Cord, Waxed Linen, and Wire
Walk-ins welcome if class is not full
