Students will learn painting techniques, sculpting and saw skills.

The Instructor will provide the following:

Acrylic paints

QuikWood

Glue

Flower centers

Some craft saws

Some transfer paper

Pattern packet with instructions and photo

Students should bring:

7-8"dia. round gourd, cut into a bowl, cleaned inside and out, and painted white inside

Craft saw (if they have one)

Paper towels

2 water containers

Disposable palette

Tracing paper

Transfer paper

Stylus

Brushes (#12 flat, 10/0 Liner, and 1" flat wash brush)

Silk sponge

Fine sandpaper

Spray varnish

NOTE: Last-minute walk-ins will be welcome.  Bring a gourd bowl 7" to 8" diameter, cleaned inside and out, painted white inside.  You can purchase a clean pre-cut bowl on site. Check with the Registration area for white spray paint for the inside.
