There is nothing more exciting than receiving a gourd from a fellow gourdhead!   The Exchange has been a highlight of the Gathering since its inception, and we're looking forward to another fun one.  Everyone is encouraged to participate!

2012 Gourd Art Exchange

HOME

The Exchange is an oppportunity for crafters and artists to show off their favorite techniques and special talents while their work is on display throughout the weekend.  Be sure to sign your finished piece of art, and include "2012 Cherokee Gathering" if possible.  These gourds will be cherished by  gourd friends for years to come.

The Exchange will take place in the main building  Sunday morning.  You'll see many people holding their breath to see what treasure they will take home with them. Rarely do you get to be involved in an exchange in which you see all the gourds in one place and meet most of the artists in person.  Get busy creating now...well, except for you cliff-hangers who will be finishing up your exchange gourds in the hotel room the night before you register!!  Let's have the largest exchange ever!
Gourds for the Exchange will be received by the Exchange committee members in the designated area during Registration periods:  Thursday 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.  If you aren't able to be there for Registration, you can turn in your exchange at the registration area when you arrive.

Items for the Exchange must be finished pieces of art ~ no raw gourds or supplies, etc.

If you have any questions, please contact Becky Folsom, Exchange Coordinator.
