Using a medium rounded gourd (must sit flat) we will cut,clean and decorate the lid to be replaced back as part of the design. Garden friends (dragonfly, butterfly, bees, ladybugs etc ) will be placed on the outside with pen and ink. Additional designs will be added to coordinate and complete the decorated vessel,
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Saws, Woodburners, Designs, Ink pens(permanent), Press and Seal or Transfer paper, Matt Acrylic Clear Spray, Beads
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Gourd -medium round with flat bottom and small upturn area for lid-handle (small bushel or large cannon)
For a savings of $5.00, students may bring their own following supplies:
Permanent ink pens (black) fine and medium, transfer paper or Press and Seal-woodburner, Matt Acrylic Clear Spray, beads or lid knob
Walk-ins welcome if class is not full
