This owl garden ornament is a whimsical mobile type structure made from scraps and creativity. This owl has turning parts which make for a changeable character. We'll do a little sawing, drilling and carving as part of our assembly.
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Saws, Dremel, Ideas, Beads and junk jewelry, heavy jewelry rings, 2 sizes of swivels, eye screws, stain and sealer spray, glue
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Gourd scraps 1-piece relatively flat approximately 3x5" for head;
1-pieces relatively flat approximately 4x6" for body
1 gourd top-cut in half (longwise) for feet
Needle nose pliers
For a savings of $5.00, students may bring their own following supplies:
Beads and junk jewelry, heavy jewelry rings, 2 sizes of swivels (fishing supplies), eye screws, stain and sealer spray, glue
Walk-ins welcome if class is not full
