A faux birdhouse featuring Purple Martins. We will plan and paint a large Purple Martin on a branch and several flying toward the birdhouse opening. The birds will be lightly wood burned onto the gourd then stained with authentic colors and patterns.
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Designs, Press and Seal, instructor has several woodburners, transfer paper(light colored), paints, clear acrylic sealer
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Martin House gourd, medium is best
For a savings of $3.00, students may bring their own following supplies:
