Woodburning: Indian Maiden in the Wind

Using adjustable temp woodburner, student will work on an Indian maiden or proud brave with flowing hair. Good practice doing long curving lines with your burner. You will also learn how to add a geometric border to your gourd without tedious measuring. Some students might not finish border in class. Add color at home if desired. Colorful handouts provided.

Patterns, assorted tools to borrow, handouts.
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
An adjustable temperature woodburner like Burnmaster or Detailmaster (simple one-piece ones will not be suitable). Medium-sized gourd of any shape you feel is suitable for this project. Can be whole or cut. No finish. Feel free to call Kathy with questions, 229-344-4300 cell.
