Saturday Morning 8 - 11

Students will take a cut and prepared canteen gourd and apply stain to the outside and flat black to the inside.  They will then be taught how to paint butterflies and daisies on the top.  After drying the students will be given instructions on how to place a bamboo wind chime into the gourd to create beautiful butterfly music.  Students should have a completed project at the end of class.

INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES

Canteen gourd (cleaned and cut in half), School Bus Yellow Paint, Thicket Paint, Orange Paint, Licorice Paint, Wicker White Paint, Coffee Bean Paint, Flat Black Spray Paint, Floating Medium, Super Glue, Bamboo Wind Chimes, Maple Stain, Red Barn Stain, Quikwood, Hand Sanitizer/Handi-wipes, Indoor/Outdoor Polyurethane Spray, Foam Plates, Paper Towels

STUDENT SHOULD BRING

3/4" Flat Brush, #2 Script Liner, 1/2" Scruffy Brush, #12 Flat Brush, Water Basin

Students may save $5.00 by bringing the following:
