Designs are being accepted for the logo to be used for the 8th Annual Cherokee Gourd Artists Gathering! This contest is open to ALL individuals who would like to enter.
The winning design will be used on T-shirts and other items available for purchase through Café Press. Information on sizes, prices and ordering will be announced once the design is selected.
GENERAL RULES
Designs will be accepted through March 15, 2010 (entries must be received by midnight EST)
Voting will take place March 16 through March 28, 2010
A link to the entries will be available when voting begins.
SPECIFIC RULES
This year's theme is "Who is that Masked Gourd?"
The design must include the following:
Most prominent wording must be:
"Gourd Artists Gathering, Cherokee, North Carolina”
Date – June 4-5-6, 2010
A photo, or original artwork or design
A slogan is optional
The winner will add their signature as part of the design

Prize:
The most distinguished prize for the artist of the winning design will be the good gourdglow feeling of knowing that s/he designed the logo for our 8th Annual cyber gourd group gathering! The winner will also receive one free T-shirt with the design imprinted on it, in the size of choice.
Copyright:
The artists of all submitted designs will retain the copyrights to their work. The design will be used on products available at Café Press, the annual Journal of Tutorials, website, flyers, and other Gathering-related communications.
