This class will show basic techniques for using jewlery wire and different types of beads to create a nice finished edge around the top of a cut gourd. The gourd can be stained before or after putting the beads on the gourd.

Students should bring:
Beads-(glass,wood,stone,bone) NO SEED BEADS
Gourd-small to medium sized-no more than 1/2inch thick-must be able to sit on its own. (cut open and cleaned out)
Jewlery Wire- any color- 16 gage
Dremel tool (if you have one for drilling holes)
Sewing measuring tape
Stain if desired

Walk-ins welcome if class is not full (must bring cleaned gourd bowl)
