In this class, you will learn how to apply an aged copper finish to a lidded gourd vessel that has been prepped with clay. You will also learn how to apply clay to a gourd, using an egg gourd. When you leave the class, you will have a completed lidded gourd vessel and gourd egg ornament.

The Instructor will provide the following:
Students will get a kit which has: 1 ready-to-paint lidded gourd vessel with dried clay design, 1 egg gourd, clay, sandpaper, 2 sponges, 3 bottles of paint (2 oz each: copper, green, black), gloves, q-tips, a knob for lid, eye screw, and tutorial.

Instructor furnishes all remaining supplies needed for project to be completed: glue, clear spray finish, roller for clay, cookie cutters, brushes, etc.

Students should bring:
Absolutely nothing but a desire to have a great time!

Walk-ins welcome if class is not full

The Instructor is extremely allergic to scented products and respectfully requests
that students please not wear scents like perfumes, lotions, etc. to class.
