SWAP MEET
If you've already been gathering up some stuff to bring and want to let others know about it, check out the on-line Bulletin Board!
We will have a "Swap Table" again this year. Trading can be a lot of fun.
When you pack for Cherokee, don't forget to include items you want to bring for trade. Bring your surplus embellishments or gourd related items and trade them in for someone else's interesting "Treasure".
Put your name on each item you leave at the table.
Starting on Thursday, you may leave your items on the swap table for others to view. The table will be manned during meeting times only. You can come and swap your items each day before and after classes, during lunch hour and evenings when the building is open. If there is something on the table that you want to swap for and you can find the person it belongs to, the two of you can swap anytime.
If you have a valuable item that you do not want to leave when the table is unattended, there is the bulletin board. Post notes on the bulletin board describing your item, when you will be at the table and maybe what you would like to trade for. Meet at the "swap board" at the times listed on the table or make your own arrangements. Or just bring the item with you at meeting times.
If you leave an item for someone else to pick up, put their full name and your full name on the item.
If you want to take your leftover items home with you, pick them up before noon on Sunday.
