Students will learn how to apply a pattern of the bear and carve around the bear in a relief technique using a dremel tool. Students will learn how to carve and inset a branch going through the gourd with additive beads etc. Applying leather dye to a gourd will also be taught.
INSTRUCTOR PROVIDES
Instructor will supply all dyes, patterns, written instructions, beads, branches and gourds as the gourds need to be of a certain height and must have a smooth surface. This is a fun and easy project for all levels.
STUDENT SHOULD BRING
Dremel tool with an adjustable chuck and different sizes of dremel bits, and respirators or heavy-duty dusk masks.
