Troy Tatum
$27.00
4 Hours - All Levels
Saturday Afternoon 1 - 5
Primative Pyrography literally means "to draw or write with fire", and that's what we will do in this class. Students will utilize fire and custom made brands to decorate a gourd in a Native American theme. Students will learn to cut, clean and prepare a gourd as well as how to stain (with leather dyes) and finish a gourd. Students will utilize furnished patterns to design their gourd. Students will then learn how to burn their designs into the gourd with the instructor's custom made brands. Students will also learn how to make their own brands and try furnished samples on gourd chards.
